What is the tuition refund policy?

  • 50% within the half semester
  • No refund if the half semester is passed

Who is responsible for hiring teachers for non-Chinese classes?

From Fall 2009, MSU Chinese School won’t officially offer non-Chinese classes. The School will provide classrooms, and might help finding teachers at will. Ideally, all such classes will be coordinated by parents.

How much does the textbook cost?

The School usually orders textbooks from chinesebooks.us, the dealer recommended by Chinese School Association in the US. We will collect that book fee at what it is actually paid. For example, chinesebooks.us charges us $6.00 for a book, and then the student that buys the book from us will be asked for $6.00.

How much is the tuition?

For all the regular Chinese classes of 2009 Fall semester, the tuition rate is $8.5 per week (1hour and 50 minutes). The rate may subject to slight change in the future with the approval by the School Board.

For the non-Chinese classes, the tuitions can be determined by both parents and teachers. MSU Chinese School does not directly operate those classes any more.
